Today we are off to Split; as usual the road is flanked by the beautiful Adriatic Sea with its Azure blue sea. the drive down is uneventful as its rained most of the way but the pot of gold at the end of our rainbow is small restaurant recommended by our guide book called Uzarita which has been run by the same family for 200 years the owner who`s English is as good as my creation ordered us to come and see his garden where he grows everything and makes everything including his red wine and olive oil…needless to say the food was excellent and so was the wine. We did the usual and stayed to long so by the time we reached Split it getting dark and we had to find a hotel so back to the book and our accommodation for the night is found ,getting there was a bit of a mission as Jane got confused and we saw the industrial are first.
